The Russia-Singapore Business Council, together with the Foreign Promotion Center, organized a business mission from 26 to 29 November 2018. 2018 is the year the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Russia and Singapore.

The Russia-Singapore Business Council has organized negotiations with Singaporean organizations such as the Association of small & medium enterprises (ASME), the Singapore Manufacturing Federation (SMF), the Intellectual Property Office of Singapore (IPOS), Government Technology Agency, Singapore e-Government Leadership Centre, National University of Singapore and visits to Singapore’s leading innovation and manufacturing infrastructure, including Singapore’s 3D technology centers.

RSBC organized a visit to the Foreign Promotion Center of High-Tech Companies and Investment Project Presentations in Singapore to see Showroom of Russian Technology and Digital Experience Center. There were also a presentation of Singaporean companies that had joint projects. The exhibition was intended to strengthen bilateral cooperation between Russian and Singaporean organizations and to increase the presence of Russian producers in South-East Asia.

In addition to the business program, RSBC with the support of the State Corporation «Rostec» held cultural events in honor of the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations of Russia and Singapore. Three concerts were held by students of the Moscow Military Music School at the Botanical Gardens of Singapore and the Cultural Centre of the National University of Singapore.
